I have been going to them for 19 years now and I have never felt that I was ripped off in any of his prices or work.nnI would recommend South Shore Auto.nnThe staff is always friendly and professional.nnI have found that they take the time to go over what was wrong and explain what the problem was. They give you a better understanding of your car each time you go there.nnSouth Shore Auto is the best kept secret. A great find. With the quality of their work and the amount of cars the work on, I am surprised they don't have more bays and a bigger staff.

I managed to jump my dead battery and drive to South Shore Automotive. I was in and out in 15 minutes with a new battery. John is simply the best! He won’t sell you something you won’t need. His rates are very reasonable.

The owner is more than fair with his prices. He tells what you need to know, not just what you would like to hear. He will not oversell you any extra work unless you vehicle needed it or if it was a matter of your safety.nnThe only drawback to his garage is that there is not enough room to park your car.nnIf you are new to the neighborhood and are looking for a fair, hard working mechanic, I would definitely recommend South Shore Automotive.
