I love the crescent trail system and hike in it often. My favorite part is that it connects to so many trail and it isn't always just a loop.

Only my second time up there. First time was a few years ago, though. It's nice up at the top; relatively open. Only wandered up up to the top and then far enough to see there were 2 fields (one looks to belong to a farmer; hay bails everywhere) and more trails that split off, but didn't follow any of them. Then I just wandered back down. Only a total of maybe 10 minutes or so. Surprisingly not very muddy even though it had been drizzling basically all day.

Great trail at a moderate difficulty. Nicely marked too.

One of my favorite trails. Great heights. Well marked. Can be slippery when raining. Connects with other crescent trails.
