I sold Ventura Motors a two year old Mercedes 350 with ultra low miles (5000 miles) after trying to trade it in at a new car dealer and getting nearly nothing for it. I talked with John over the phone about the car and he offered me what I thought was an extremely good price, much more than the MB dealer would give for the car. In fact, selling to Ventura more than exceeded the sales tax difference on a trade in. When I showed up with the car, John actually gave me slightly more than he had offered over the phone, because he could see the car’s condition in person.nI recommended John to my brother in law when he was trading in a two year old Subaru. Again, John’s offer was outstanding and in both cases, he purchased and paid for the car on the spot. If you’re not receiving enough on a trade in, see John. He’s really an honest, up front person. No games, no hassles.

Had a very easy buying experience with John. Low pressure environment and he did not try to sneak in any hidden fees or bad financing options that large car dealerships usually do. Strongly suggest looking at buying a car here.nnThe only issue I had was that the truck I bought was listed as a long bed on his website when it was in fact a short bed. We looked at the MSRP difference of the same truck if new (long vs short bed) and he gave me almost that entire amount off his asking price (even after negotiating to begin with with I found extremely fair considering it is used and already started depreciating)

I test drove a car at Ventura, and I discovered a safety issue while driving it. I got back from the test drive and told the salesperson about the issue I found with the car. I then started to browse at other cars they had. The salesperson put the car I test drove right back out on display. I guess they don't care that the car had a safety problem. When he went inside, I left. I ended up buying elsewhere.
