I have been going to Alley cat for over 20 years, almost since it's opening.nWhen I lived on Belmont street, all I had to do was call and say hey it's Tom, and they knew what my order was.nnTonight, I ordered the same Pizza that I always have ordered. An attack cat pizza with extra extra onion. Boy am I disappointed.nnI was charged $2 extra for the onion on a pizza that used to cost me $13. It now costs over $20. That is a small by the way.nWhen I got home with my pizza I was so disappointed. The meat toppings were half of what I used to get, and there was basically no cheese on the pizza.nThe new owners may have kept the old menu but they are skimping on product. I understand prices go up, especially after 20 years, but if I'm going to spend $8 more for a pizza than I did in the past I expect the same quality.nnFor those of you to whom I recommended this place, I apologize.

Loved everything from the person who took my order until the delivery guy. The pizza and chicken tenders are awesome. Keep up the wonderful work. First time ordered from this place. Love love love.. Adélia Johnson

The pizza is average at best. Not terrible, but something like you would get in any typical cafeteria in America. They really skimp on the toppings, probably because the pizza is so cheap. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and there was very little chicken on it, and I couldn't taste any buffalo sauce or blue cheese even though they told me it was on there (looked and tasted like a plain cheese pizza to me).nnThe lady at the counter was very rude to an older gentleman who came inside without a mask (probably he forgot). I just think there are better ways to communicate your restaurant's policies to patrons other than being abrasive and nasty.nnOn the plus side, the restaurant's name and logo is pretty cool. I like how they have all their pizzas named after cats!

Honesty? Not amazing. I’ve heard people saying that it’s the best pizza in New Hampshire, and I just think that couldn’t be more incorrect. It’s not even close to being as good as NY style either. If you say it’s as good as NY pizza, you’ve obviously never had NY pizza.nnThe first pizza we ordered was a half and half cheese and pepperoni. The crust was decent. Some parts were a little burnt, but it had a nice taste. It did look like they used cornmeal on the bottom, which is really nice. It had a good texture to it. The cheese was a little greasy, and certainly wasn’t the best cheese I’ve had, either. There wasn’t a lot of sauce in the pizza at all, but I would consider that a good thing because the sauce wasn’t very good. It tasted a bit like jarred store bought sauce. The pepperoni wasn’t anything to write home about, either. Not horrible, but I wish we had just gotten all cheese instead.nnThe other pizza we ordered was the spinach and feta. It was not good. The spinach was dry. Completely shriveled up. It looked like seaweed. The feta did absolutely nothing, as well. You probably could have replaced it with chunks of tofu and there would be 0 difference. It didn’t taste like anything, which is crazy to me because feta has a very distinct taste. This had no taste. The crust was also burnt on the bottom. Not crispy like the cheese, just straight up burnt.nnThis pizza is very overpriced for what it is, and isn’t even close to being in the same league as genuine New York style pizza. Only thing saving this from a 1 star is the cheese pizza, which was fine overall. Maybe the cooks were just having a bad day or something, but I’m not exactly itching for a second try. Horrible first impression. Make sure you’ve had a few drinks in you if you decide to order anything other than the cheese pizza.

Great food, great prices. Really good place to catch a meal that doesn't break the bank
