Ellacoya State Park is located on route 11 in Gilford, NH and like most NH State Park beaches it is well maintained and clean. The beach is approximately 600 feet long and has some great views looking across the lake toward Sandwich, NH and the Ossipee mountains. There are many picnic tables in both sunny and shady areas, several barbeque facilities, a bathhouse with showers and a changing area, and a small store for gifts and snacks. There is also an area off to the side of the beach area where you can launch a canoe or kayak. Adjacent to the park is a camping area. The beach is fee-based. We have visited there many times, but today in early April everything was closed. We just sat, read, had a picnic. and soaked up some sun.

I did not visit the park. I fished the area in front of the park. If you are a fisherman not a bad place to stop, decent smallmouths.

Well maintained and very clean beach.. water is so clear.. great view of lake from the beach.. very calm and peaceful beach.. children play area was closed due to covid.. changing rooms also clean and maintained.. overall best beach.. many benches and barbeque stations on the beach to enjoy your own food..

Awesome very clean worth the drive great family day picnic table bathrooms kid play area shaded spots if needed! Overall perfect!
