Living Memorial Gardens

This is written during Covid so understanding the timing should be considered. The garden is showing new blumes and beginning its life cycle for the year and we'll maintained. People at the garden were respectful and social distancing although not said there was a pattern that was followed so you didn't cross one another as we shared the garden together. The garden provided a quiet time of reflection, provided signs of new life and hope in a time of high anxiety and most importantly a social opportunity of normal everyday life.

Beautiful out of the way spot. Good for walking. Made my way up to Cabela's from here on the Deadwood trail pathway, lovely walk..

The Memorial Gardens is located in the beautiful Legion Park. The garden has a wide variety of plants and flowers. There is a large gazebo with bench seating next to the garden area. The Angel of Hope is also adjacent to the gardens, providing a serene place to relax and meditate. Close by is a shelter house, a playground and fishing pond with several docks. There is a nice walking path that takes you through the park. Also near the gardens is the Legion Baseball Field and the Sidney War Memorial.
