This is an amazing school that strives on the pursuit of excellence and promotes intersectionality and a strong sense of community! The population is diverse and every child is treated as the special individual they are! The principal of the school could not have a bigger heart or be any better at her job than she is! The teachers, office staff and the behavioral specialist show how much they care about these kids everyday and in so many ways! We could not have been more pleased by our experience at Harambee, it's truly been a fabulous experience for both of my children and done a tremendous job educating them on so many levels and ways, they do it with tremendous compassion, support and heart! I could not be more grateful for the experience my children have had/are having! I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for their children to receive the best school experience possible!

Welcoming atmosphere, great education, wonderful teachers. Most importantly, everybody in that school is on board to make sure every student succeeds.

Ever since I was here since 4th grade, I've experienced a little bit of bullying at school but I was very glad to meet a lot of people. 5th grade was more better and it was like I'm in heaven and the teachers and students were so nice. Since I left Harambee, I wished I could come visit but since all of my siblings don't go here anymore, I wished everyday I could visit Harambee and see how awesome it still is. I've also heard they showed empathy because while I was checking Facebook, This school posted something about a donation for a friend of mine who passed away from Leukemia and I knew how they feel. I still wish to visit this with people that were there at my 5th grade year (possibly my 4th grade year.) to remember the things that happened and to see how much we've changed (basically a reunion). I'm really glad I've enrolled in here because I had no friends at school at my old school from 1st to 3rd grade.
