Sky Tram in Terminal A wasn't working so we had to walked all the way from the opposite end of the concourse to the other just to get to the tunnel to the other concourses. Then walk through the tunnels. Good thing we didn't have a tight connection or we never would have made our next flight.
Full disclosure, I am a lifetime Detroiter. I love this city despite its ups and downs. I even believe the Lions will win the Super Bowl. Detroit Metro Airport is simply one of the top 5 airports I fly in and out of. I travel by Air about 8 times a year around the globe, DTW is just easy. Great food choices, Amazing lounge, friendly Midwestern staff, easy gate access, and I rarely mind a delayed flight because there is a lot to enjoy. Whether I fly solo or with my family, I try to make DTW a part of the trip.
First time here, looks organized, clean and easy to move around it...
Pretty easy to get through this airport, though people really should pay attention to where they are going and quit looking at their phones PLEASE!!
Have always been a fan of the McNamara Terminal. Its easy, bright and has a taste of detroit for food. Also enjoy the Freedom center for the troops.
