First off, I’m admittedly an anxious and picky mom. I’d talk to teachers whenever I can and occasionally “sneak” in during the day to check on the classroom. have switched daycares/schools 6 times! My daughter finally settled at MCOL for preschool and kindergarten in room 1. She graduated in summer 2020. By that time she’s able to do multiple digit addition with carryover, and started to read chapter books like Junie B Jones. In addition to the academic focus, they have excellent music lessons and frequently performed for holidays and at the retirement home. Art and craft is highly appreciated at MCOL where each classroom take turns to fill the exhibits in the hallway. The gym is well equipped and allows free play after school everyday. Homework is being given weekly (not mandatory), so children learn to balance their workload among other activities each day. Reading list is being closely monitored in a progressive structure for each kid. You can see all the progress in their take home folder and notebooks. Science covers a broad array of subjects, including continents, stars and planets, living/non-living, animals, human body, countries and culture study, to name a few. I can’t be happier with MOCL!!!

Terrible preschool overall. First off, its very expensive and for the money charged I don't think its worth it. Not all teachers are good and teach equally. Depending on which classroom your kid goes and who teaches that class, your kid will develop or not. My son went to class 3 and all they ever did was craft work and play for the whole school year. Not language, reading, writing or even pre-math. I have a friend's kid who goes to class 4 and has learnt a lot including phonetics, reading, writing, math etc. This kid is same age as my kid and can read sentences, paragraphs together and write alphabets and numbers without need for tracing. When asked about this difference my kid was being blamed to have not picked up the teaching. How will the kid learn anything if all the class ever did was either play or do crafts? Unbelievable! I made the mistake of paying for the whole year upfront and was told there will be no refund. Beware and find a better pre-school with good teachers
