Had an absolute blast here and the trails were abundant.
Highly explorable with a lot of deer sign. All the knuckleheads on here that keep kvetching about the DNR and the Governor really ought to educate themselves about their elected officials on both sides of the aisle. Take former Republican state Senator Tom Casperson, for example. He was one of the loudest advocates for selling off our public lands to out-of-state and foreign logging interests—with kickbacks. These supposedly “conservative” representatives consistently vote against conservation efforts and funding for public parks and forests, and ultimately would like Michigan to be more like Texas: ALL PRIVATIZED, where one has to pay a wealthy land-owner a hefty fee to hunt their property. If you truly care about public lands like Roscommon—and the plethora of resources they provide—then stop giving power to these creeps who sneakily work to pull the forest floors out from under all of us.
It's very nice included place to see nature
Some of the trails need groomed. They were so bad you couldn't sit in your seat.
Beautiful, great conditions for cross country skiing!
