Really awesome hidden gem! We went in around 9:15pm on a Wednesday thinking they closed at 10pm. They actually closed at 9:30pm but took our carry out order without question and even took the time to explain some of the dishes to us. The food was ready promptly and it was all amazing!! We will absolutely be back!

I ordered only a couple of things and the food was ready in under 10 minutes. The food is flavorful and reasonably priced. The staff were prompt and polite. I def look forward to coming back again.

This place has great tasting tacos!! Also enjoyed the Trio fajitas and agua de Jamaica. Super tasty, possibly a little to sweet but nothing extra water can solve! Had a bit of an issue with the taste of the menudo. But definitely a place to go back to. Price was very reasonable as well. Staff super friendly and attentive to their customers needs.

Called on the phone to order and they told me 10-20 mins. So I showed up 20 mins after the call, but it ended up being a 45 minute wait. When I went in nobody acknowledged me or asked for the name the order was under. I waited 5-10 mins before going up to the waitress to ask about my order and she was like yeah it’ll be done in a second, kind of dismissive. The waitress and the cook both wore their masks under their noses, which I found gross because of covid. The place wasn’t the cleanest or the most organized, there were boxes everywhere and the food in the glass fridge in the back looked old. The place they keep the chips for salsa was only like a foot off the ground, I found that kind of gross. The food was ok I guess, it lacked flavor to me but my dad liked his tacos; I had quesadillas with beef. I was really disappointed by the cleanliness of the place and the customer service.

I personally highly recommend dining at Motor City Tacos! All the food is exceptionally delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine at affordable prices. Paul and Juan run a first-class operation :)
