I love going to this Japanese grocer as they have a wide variety of quality products. Freshly baked goods, vegetables, fresh fish, you name it. Their sushi/restaurant is the best I've had in the Detroit area. I have yet to not find a Japanese product I'm looking for. The prices are reasonable for imported products, but expect to spend more than you would at a typical grocer.
This is the place to get any and all authentic Japanese foods, including fresh sushi or other fish. It is small in the inside but they really pack everything in there. If you have heard its great or the place to go then you've heard correctly. If you're just googling for a new market, this is the one you want for Japanese food.
If you are still going to Kroger for Sushi, you should stop. This place has incredible sushi for a great price. Everything is incredibly fresh and kept extremely neat. They also have Bento boxes and other food options.nnBesides sushi, there is also a nice selection of Japanese goods. This varies from snacks to hard to find Japanese groceries. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
