First, the hike is nice and beautiful, not too hard.nHowever we had to drive here and the directions showed directly the trailhead, not the parking lot, and so we had to take a bit of a detour to get back to the parking lot, since the trailhead is on a private road, open to park employees only.nI am usually looking for hiking trails that are kid friendly, which was partially right in this case as our hiking stroller didn’t do its job really, so at some point we turned around and went back.nParking was plenty, there was a bathroom too and tables an benches for picnics.nThe trails had small pockets for us to stop and “hide” when other people were around. This allows some social distancing. Other than that, it wasn’t too crowded and people mostly were wearing masks

Went on a very wet morning and had a great time! Lots of mud and sketchy footing, but we did the May Valley Loop and wandered on some other trail head for a total of 8 miles.

This is a great trail head. It is a state park so you need a discover pass, but there is a small, flat story trail that's maybe a third of a mile loop with little bits of a children's story throughout. My 1 year old loves this trail. There is also a trail that goes up to the peak. Both trails are beautiful and fairly well maintained.

Very beautiful. My wife and I took our 3 year old and her loved it! We also had our 5 month old and she wasn't an issue.
