Today we hiked to tradition lake. We took the loop trail there and the power line road back. With 5 kids that weren't excited to hike we got through it with smiles and gummy bears! The trail was not difficult at any point and the trees were beautiful as they change to fall colors. Highly recommend for laid back hiking and little kids. Totally doable for most.

Beautiful place to go for a walk, and accessible to kids!

One of the major access points for the multitude of trails that Tiger Mountain has to offer. Easy access of I90 and the road is paved all the way to the parking lot, plenty of parking spots including handicapped spots. There are restrooms located at the trailhead but since COVID, they have not been cleaned regularly and unfortunately people have done a good job of trashing them.nnA Discover Pass is required to park here.

Keep your eyes and ears open. The trees are falling! If you are used to listening to music on trails or wearing headphones, rethink your strategy. Listen to the forest. If you hear cracking noises, look arounds and get ready to jump! Being attentive can save your life. As anywhere in the PNW, the trail is beautiful.

Good on a hot sunny day as most of the trail is under the shade of trees.nKid friendly.nLots of bugs & spiders .nCouldn't find restroom, or maybe it was locked .nParking needs discover pass .nMight not repeat again as the views are not that great.nNot too much elevation in the trail which I liked.nThe only benched viewing area was already occupied by a family who wouldn't move from there at all , we waited but nope.
