What a wonderful organization. The tour was so informative. I enjoyed it and learned a lot!

Very few salmon running the day we were there, but a very friendly and interesting tour of the facility and good social distancing protocols in place.

We had a great time. Although Covid makes this a little less convenient, it was nice to have a small guided tour and easy to see everything.

This place is very informative and it's a unique experience watching the salmon in the water and the nesting areas. The self guided touring is short but explains a lot about the conservation efforts and the life cycle of the fish. Gift shop is smaller but has some unique finds. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice stop and visit, though limited in scope and amount of time. Still nice though!

Wonderful experience: if you can get a tour (or just sneak into another) it's very informative. I would highly recommend going here with kids, but even as an adult its lovely.nAnyone interested in salmon, the city of issaquah, and/or our local ecosystem should go visit the hatchery!nIt's best to come between the end of August - mid/end of October for the best fish viewing. Otherwise there are plaques explaining the fish and wildlife around.nKeep in mind that most of the workers and docents are volunteers and are not likely to know everything.
