The garden has been readied for our Michigan winter. This year we helped feed over 35 families. We were very successful this year with tomatoes, peppers, corn, squashes such as zucchini, yellow and green. We also produced cabbage and onions. This past fall we let the kids pick pumpkins and watermelons. As with any City garden the raccoons and opossums and squirrels ate well also. Stay tuned as we put in a small orchard on Sycamore Street and hope to produce some fruits.
