The hot roll is the best lobster roll I've ever had.nnThe classic roll was the second best I've ever had.nnand I've had a lot!! Don't miss this place! Worth the wait!

The Travelin Lobster was absolutely incredible. We stumbled upon it after visiting Acadia, and even its appearance was charming. The staff was so friendly and polite. And lastly, the food was out of this world. We ordered a slaw lobster roll, a hot buttered lobster roll, and lobster bisque. All of it was exceptional, but the hot roll was by far our favorite. We loved it so much that we wanted to come back the next day, but they sold out of lobsters, so get there early! We tried another place this evening, and it was good, but it didn’t even close to comparing to The Travelin Lobster. If we’re ever back in the area, it’s the only place we’ll go!

So after spending the week eating lobster rolls from different places each day, The Travelin' Lobster came up on top as #1 on my list, beating the second place by a small margin.nnWe heard about this place through word-of-mouth and arrived on a rainy Saturday just as they were about to open. There was already a line of about 7-8 people. Plenty of parking available and there is an outdoor dining area with a canopy.nnThe staff was very helpful and friendly. They worked like a well-oiled machine to get our orders our fast.nnI got the larger sized Slaw Roll, which is a lobster roll with cole slaw and thousand island dressing. I was impressed with how well-balanced everything worked. The lobster was perfect and the slaw and dressing complemented it really well.nnThe lobster roll was well worth the wait in the pouring rain. And I would do it again to eat here. Will 100% be back whenever I'm in town.

The lobster roll is amazing!nnIts pricy but the amount of meat with no fillers will bury your hunger. I was expecting way less given experiences and price with other vendors. Definitely not a place optimizing profits over customers experience. (Felt like i had a few lobsters in my roll).nnClearly family run. You can feel it. You might have to wait a bit, but it will be worth every minute. Lots of love for thier craft.nnAlso lots of places to sit and plenty of room to park.

This place was amazing!!! We tried several lobster rolls while in Maine and these were by far our favorite. If you enjoy BLTs, do yourself a favor and get the BLT lobster roll. The hot lobster roll is also delicious! We can’t wait to go back.
