I am the owner. Providing quality childcare in a loving educational environment has been my dream for as long as I can remember. A dream I realized and have spent the last 11 years doing. I just realized I had a not so great review. And I think it’s important to remember you don’t always know what is going on in someone’s life. I did apologize over and over for my unresponsiveness. That communication also took place at the time of my fathers passing and I had gone away for the weekend out of state to settle up his personal property. Maybe I should have disclosed that to her at the time. But obviously I didn’t feel it necessary to tell a stranger about my personal drama in the moment. It saddens me that in all my years of providing care to so many families I now learn of this one bad review.

My son just turned a year old so I was looking into this daycare. This is my first child (so as you know I am nervous about sending him to daycare due to all the horror stories you hear about daycares nowadays). I texted the owner of the daycare twice in one week with no response, so I finally messaged her on Facebook to try and get ahold of her again. She messaged me back the next day and said that she had 2 other families coming to look at the daycare that coming Friday morning. So I immediately messaged her back to ask if I could come Friday afternoon to look at the daycare and she didn't get back to me for a whole week again. When she did she asked if we could get up a time for us to come look at the daycare (I'm assuming the other two families fell through and this is why she decided to contact me). I told her that I didn't feel comfortable sending my child somewhere that doesn't respond to me when I try to get in contact. And that I had found a daycare for him and thanked her for her time and consideration. She then messaged me back many excuses as to why she had dodged my texts and messages and was kind of passive aggressive as well. I'm sure she has a wonderful daycare and does contact the parents of the children she watches, it just wasn't a very good first impression. I would have loved to at least look at the daycare, but had already found a daycare after two weeks of no response. Very nice and respectful lady though.
