We happened by this place on other errands, and decided to try it due to the outside menus and apparent car side delivery. Those are no longer working, but I went inside to order since we already decided what to get.nnThe Ruben was fantastic. The toasted bread was crisp rather than soggy as sometimes happens, and the ratio of sour kraut and corned beef was spot on. It could have used some extra dressing, but that is an easy fix and helped keep the bread as crisp as it was.nnThe root beer was excellent as well. It had a complex taste that was very pleasant. No mugs as we ordered to go.nnThe fried food we got (mushrooms, onion rings, clams) were all done well, nice and crisp outside and tasty inside. Nothing overly special about them, but very solid.nnMy biggest complaint was with the outside menus. Being first timers we pulled up to one and tried it, there were signs on some, but not on all about the car side ordering not working. My wife and I will definitely be back for the wonderful food and root beer though.

Always a good place to gather. Our breakfast group meets here twice a week. Hot coffee and a good breakfast and they let us sit in our corner and chat.

I got a double cheesburgur and the patties were paper thin but it tastes good and tables are small
