Food was nothing to brag about. We got the family style chicken. Drinks weren't kept refilled, we actually were only offered 1 refill. We only saw 2 employees in the entire restaurant. The male waiter was overworked and admitted to partying to hard the day before. My moms plate was taken away before she was finished.. When we went to pay our bill the female was playing on her cell phone and definitely acted like we were bothering her since she had to put her phone away to cash us out. Overall we weren't pleased with the food, staff or environment.
Fried chicken dinner was great! Waitress was very sweet and helpful. Love eating in that home atmosphere.
Talk about homestyle cooking!! The corn fritters are the best anywhere, pineapple ones for breakfast, yummy!! Swiss steak that melts in your mouth. Fried chicken like mom makes. And locally owned.
Delicious as always. All the food is good but the chicken and fritters are above the rest.
The food and staff were great definitely go again it had been awhile because of covid.
