What an awesome and unique experience this restaurant is! There's truly nothing like it in the state of IL, possibly in the country. Right from the bagpipe welcoming you inside, to the owner with his beautiful Scottish accent, and the decor that throws you right into Scottish royalty, this hidden gem does not disappoint. The service was kind and attentive, and the food was even better. And for whiskey lovers like me, the scotch list is something dreams are made of! Certainly off the beaten path, but worth the trek out west for a one-of-a-kind dining experience at an establishment where their care and passion is quite evident.

The food is exquisite, the staff is so nice and the restaurant is beautiful. It was one of the best meals I ever had. 100% recommended!

Amazing 1st the old fashioned best I've ever had at a restaurant the rack of venison out of this world and the scots millionaire shortbread wow! And the best part when you walk up to the restaurant they have a gentleman playing Scotland the brave on the bagpipes Highly recommend.

The place has good and authentic soul and good service. It's an intriguing gem among the typical American comfort food places of the area, with some truly European and Scottish options, far from the same-o-same-o restaurant menues.nnI truly want to like this place, sadly I found the food overly salty which kind of limited the natural flavors of the exciting dishes I had hoped to taste.
