I would have to agree completely with the previous reviews on this page. I attended here 5 years ago and not much has changed based on what I have heard from nursing students who have come to my hospital now for clinicals. It was easy to get into. The quality of the education was not worth what I had to pay. It seemed like the professors really wanted to help but they had no power, control or ability from their resources to help. It was a complete mess. This program is not ideal if you need a face to face learning experience. I basically taught myself everything by reading my books cover to cover. I did graduate but I did not go back for my graduate degree. Keep searching. This place is not for you.

Do not go to this University for Nursing. I am a student at the Main Campus or the Oakbrook campus. Professors are not clear with expectations. The administrators do not care about student success. Seems staff are openly prejudiced here. They do not like minority students here. The Dean of the program Dir. Greer is openly prejudiced.

Possibly the worst educational experience of my life, the program is disorganized and generally a complete mess. I attended school looking forward to learning how to be a professional nurse with expectations of gaining the tools to be successful; all while maintaining my christian values. I am leaving this school with none of the above. The program administration preach compassion and understanding but demonstrate NONE of these values. This school places the burden of all work on students while not providing enough resources or teaching to allow students to be successful. They will say anything to get you into the door and your money in their hand, then find reasons to fail or mark you as unsatisfactory in order to gain more money for students repeating classes. Going through this program the only thing that kept me going was the light at the end of the tunnel of leaving this place and never looking back. I will NEVER suggest this program to anyone, never recommend attending any classes at the Oak Brook site, and never think about taking any other advanced practice courses at this location again.

Do not attend their ABSN program in Oakbrook. This program is completely online. They dont care about their students,. Professors don't teach and they keep blaming students for everything. Their professors are openly racist and they do not like Black students here. Their Professors will try to get rid of all the Black students before programs ends. Do NOT come here.
