ABSOLUTELY AVOID! If that's not enough, I offer my story and hopefully I can bring some awareness of how to spot a scam.nnI found a too-good-to-be-true ad on OfferUp. This guy wanted to move to a phone call immediately, this is a red flag as they're trying to avoid verifiable conversations. He was very pushy to get me in immediately. Ignored questions of a car trade. Literally asked me to send him the price of the car and my license before I even seen it. Completely stopped responding when I tried to set up a test drive to a mechanic for a full inspection. I'm not even aware of another wrong thing they could have done. He seemed to want to avoid me finding the name of his business even, I got it from street view on Google Maps from the address he gave me. The car isn't listed anywhere else on the internet, their website is down and their only presence is on Facebook which hasn't really been updated since 2014. This isn't just a bad car dealership, they are con men. I wish we could set up stings to send people like this to prison and lose the key.

Never got title or permanent plates. Had to go to police.
