My cousin and I just left Ellie's attempting to play....We waited at the door until a greeter arrived....Finally, an older gentlemen come from the back and stated, WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE, THAT YOUNG MAN CAN'T COME IN, YOU HAVE TO BE 21....While holding up my cousin's ID, I asked the older gentlemen, HOW DO YOU KNOW HE IS NOT 21, YOU DIDNT ASK TO SEE HIS ID....The older gentleman then stated YOU CAN LEAVE....My cousin has Down Syndrome so he is shorter than the average person, but I think he should have been given the opportunity to prove his age.nnTotal discrimination and WE WILL NEVER VISIT HERE AGAINnT

Very nice, quiet setting, some dings pings and jingles from machines, but that's to be expected. I'll be back to visit again soon.

I struggled with whether or not I should review this place. The guy sitting next to us waiting for his wife to finish on the slot machines was extremely friendly and nice and bought my girlfriend and I a round of drinks just for the conversation. We had a good experience here.nnHowever, as others have noted, this is NOT a coffee place, nor really a bar, but a nook with slot machines that happens to serve refreshments, clearly to keep the gamblers gambling.nnIf that's what you're looking for, go nuts, the folks are friendly, but if not, you'd better look elsewhere.
