It is a nice place to take a walk. Paths are smooth and wide enough to comfortably walk with someone. Our kids loved looking for turtles, snakes, and woodpeckers. The inside is closed except for the bathrooms but they still have programs going on outside.
Meeting spot for handcycles
I was there for the Night of the Frogs bilingual night hike. It was a fun event! Identifying frog calls is hard. I plan to visit again during the day.
Due to covid-19 the nature center was closed..has a nice lake and user friendly path to take a stroll...it's free and because of that it's good for a few hours of outdoor time..
It's pretty. Better to go in the spring, summer or fall. Trails are gross with mud and snow.
