This place is stunningly gorgeous, and I was really excited to check it out after seeing it from the bridge above...but when I finally found it and visited, half the trail was closed off with the earthen paths often muddy and the floating platforms were sinking. It was definitely an enter at your own risk sort of scene, but after watching several couples exit we decided it must be manageable. I don't know if it's due to disrepair or a seasonal fluxuation in moisture levels, but I hope the park gets the maintenance it needs to be it's best! Like I said, it's an absolutely stunning path to walk along, just a shame to see it partially in shambles.

Really great spot to relax and enjoy variety of scenery. Awesome spot to soak up the sun by the beach or beautiful walking trails. Bring a lunch and spend the whole day outdoors.

Great place to walk on the UW garden, or on the 520 bridge.

Limited parking, but many options for walking including the 520 bridge, the Montlake cut, and Marsh island. Worth a visit.

Nice place to go for a walk by the water and look at the birds. Summer time is much greener of course. The draw bridge is neat to see from below!
