Good food
Update: Since moving here, we've tried on two separate occasions to go back here. Both times the older gentleman behind the bar has been very uninviting. We really got the vibe that is being there was a burden and that he'd rather turn us away than accommodate us. It's unfortunate because the food was really great, but not really worth the headache of dealing with a sourpuss. There are other places to eat downtown where the staff is very inviting and friendly.nnDelicious food! Fried catfish was awesome!
I loved the vibe of the restaurant. My one and only complaint was the sweet tea wasn't great but that it is not a big deal. The food was really good.
Fish special was really tasty. Low price was added bonus.
This place is like a trip to the past. Amazing food, any kind of drink you want and lots of history surrounding you. Definitely recommend if you have the chance to visit.
