A beautiful well maintained camping experience. Lots to do sightseeing hiking fishing boating ... I will definitely be back. Nice camp site and a great price. There is a grocery store in Monroe City but not much else around so come well stocked. Clean restrooms/shower (until a inconsiderate pig uses it).

We spent the weekend at Mark Twain Lake/Indian Creek campground for an adult get away... And we will be returning as often as possible! It was beautifully well kept and peaceful! The deer came right through our campsite every day and we loved it! ❤ Concerning cell service... We have At&t and could not use our phones but being it's an escape, we did not need to use themud83dude0a No big deal! The staff drove through often and always waved and were pleasant. I could go on and on but this is our ultimate favorite place and will be returning several times a year!!

Really enjoy coming here. The camping spots are decent sized. The bathrooms are sufficient for use. Sometimes have a lot of bugs in the bathrooms but it is camping.

Camped first weekend in November and loved it. Got lucky with warm temps. Area is quiet, peaceful, lots of wildlife and great campsites.

great campground on the lake just as good as the state park campground but ray barrens campground is not as good as these two but ray barrens campground is still great but this one indian creek campground just as good as the state park campground on this lake if you live in saint louis it is about 2 hours 45 minutes away 61 north then take exit bowling green left on 54 west then 154 west right on 19 north left on 154 west right on 107 north right on highway 24 then right on highway hh to the campground best way there but if you take 61 north to hannibal mo then left on highway 36 west or paris gravel road then right on highway 24 left on highway 36 west 5 minutes longer than 61 to 36 west then take exit monroe city mo then take highway 24 south left on highway hh to campground 5 minutes longer way than exit bowling green but is a faster and more direct way to go this campground is great for fishing swimming and boating and very nice and quiet
