Tea With Tracy

I have always liked the Tea With Tracy restaurant in Seymour so I decided to try their new second location in Oxford. If you live tea and like to try a new flavor this is the place to go. They have it decorated very nice. My friend & I tried the chicken w/walnuts & cranberries. It was good. For dessert we had Swedish brownies, they are a must to try.

If tea is your thing than Tea With Tracy is your place. Extensive tea menu to please anyone's palate. A light fare is also offered if you are so inclined. A lovely setting, elegantly appointed with soft classical music to fill the air. Serenity abounds when you take your first step inside.

We visited Tea With Tracy's new location in Oxford which just opened! We've always loved their Seymour tearoom, and are so excited that they're now offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Oxford.nnTo start the meal, my mom and I shared the charcuterie board for two. We really appreciated the variety of meats and cheeses, as well as the mango chutney with candied ginger that it was paired with. The smoked Gouda was our favorite! For soups we had the lobster bisque and cream of tomato, and both were delicious! Our tea choice was Irish Breakfast, one of my mom's favorites. For dinner we split an order of lamb chops, and they were cooked perfectly. Tracy's husband does all of the cooking, and he truly does a fantastic job. For dessert we shared the Pavlova, which is meringue topped with fruit and whipped cream. I paired it with Tracy's strawberry cocoa, which is my absolute favorite! It tastes exactly like chocolate covered strawberries!nnLastly, we were blown away with how beautiful the new space is. The refurbished antiques and tin ceilings give it an old-fashioned and classy vibe, something that's right up our alley! Our waitress was very attentive, and we appreciated that Tracy and her husband came over to talk to us throughout the evening. I can't wait to come back and try breakfast, and of course I need to plan a day to indulge in afternoon tea as well.

Cute place. Service was a little on the slow side and there were only 3 sets of people. The potatoes were extremely dry to the point where I couldn't eat them. The rest of the food was delicious.
