This Dollar General may look a little dis-organized, but don't let that fool you. They have everything you will need and then some. They are actually priced less on food items than the local grocery store. The people are nice and helpful if you can't find the item you are looking for. Plus, if you download the app, you can save $5.00 on a $25.00 dollar purchase. I like coupons a bunch!
I wasn't there the day hurricane Zeta hit, but when I got paid the next day and power was back in town, i went in for groceries. While smalltalking with one cashier, I noticed that the other one was quickly ringing up a big cart full of stuff. The cashier I was talking too said that they had operated through the power outage by means of a price book, and that the other one was having to manually scan all the sold items into the system now that the power was back! Even growing up in Florida where hurricanes are common, I never saw a chain store operate without power! ud83dudc4fud83dudc4fud83dudc4f
As Dollar General goes, it was an above average DG.
Nice DG! Friendly staff/cashier.
