Here’s the thing, airport service across the board at the Birmingham airport is never that great. If you’re getting a drink before your flight at this airport you basically choose between Jim ‘n Nicks. I pick this location because the service is better, the beer selection is better and the food isn’t that bad. It’s not a 5 star restaurant so I’m not rating it like it is one. It gets 4 stars as an airport brew house in Alabama.

This is the second time i have come to this place while waiting for a flight. The first time was awful but i figured everyone deserves a second chance. This time was worse. There were a tor of 3 people sitting at the bar. It took the lady 15 minutes to acknowledge the 4th person, me. She put a menu down. Five minutes later she walked by and asked what I wanted without stopping. I ordered a beer l. Without stopping she said they switched that to something else and continued walking. After not reappearing for 5 minutes I walked out. Never will I bother with this place again.

Even though the young lady was all by herself, she did an amazing job. The restaurant was packed and she was taking orders and serving all by herself... I give her 5 stars but the restaurant should have had her some help. I don't know her name but check the time and date stamp on this review and look up the employee from there. She deserves something!

Worst place, the server decided whether you have to walk up the bar or order at the table based on your color. Not that I mind walking up to the bar. The tables were dirty with glasses piling up. The beer was good. But hate that people judge and treat you differently based on color in 2020....
