A perfect southern “Meat n three” with cafeteria style serving and of course dessert at the front of the line (gotta manage those priorities). Been eating here for years, and plan to keep doing so. To summarize the place, it looks just like you’d expect a place to where every visitor can’t help but become a regular.

Food was awesome! The place is still family owned and run, definite Mom & Pop ( family) feel. I ate there the first time in 1979. Romano's are great people. Great breakfast & lunch.

I had not been to Cedar House in over 15 years. I remember going with my Dad and Grandfather when I was younger. It has changed a lot over the years, but my husband and I went for lunch today. The food was delicious just like I remembered. The staff was friendly and even remembered my family. There were a lot of meat and vegetable choices. The pecan pie was amazing! I enjoyed my meal and looking at the old pictures and reminiscing. My husband and I will definately be going back more often now that we moved back to Alabama.
