Big Lagoon State Park Campground

Really feels like you’re in the wilderness if you camp here. Nice level sites. Great trails, we saw an armadillo on our hike to the water. So sad hurricane Sally wreaked some havoc here, missing out on some of the boardwalk - but still plenty to enjoy. Go support the parks!

stayed here in january 2021, worth noting they were still working on clean up from some considerable hurricane damage which left some of the boardwalks and trails closed. even still, this park is gorgeous. lots of foliage to keep your site somewhat secluded, bathrooms were nice and handicapped accessible. really close to the water with a dock, pavilions, and boat launch about a 3 minute drive from the campgrounds. each site has a picnic table and fire pit.nelectric and water hookups, no sewer but there is a dump site.nwill definitely be coming back.

Great place to relax, everyone was very nice, they almost called to check if we were still on our way to check-in, which was very nice of them..

Many trails closed due to hurricane. Campsites are nice but a lot of marsh areas

Campground was very nice, some sites on the South side by 1st bathroom road and part of their sites got flooded after rain.
