If I could leave a zero star rating I would. We waited outside for 50 minutes, after being seated we waited another fifteen minutes for the waitress to come. We asked for biscuits and cornbread and didn’t receive for awhile because it was “in the oven” so you would expect it to be hot, but it was not. We ordered our food and waited on it for an hour, but we didn’t even get everything that we ordered. When we got our food it was cold and tasted terrible. The waitress told us that the next time we wanted tea they might be out because they were shutting everything down. Although they had another hour and a half before closing and were still bringing people in to be seated. So all together we were there for at least two and a half hours. It was absolutely terrible. I never take time to write reviews but this cracker barrel was absolutely terrible!!!
Out of too many items
I'm not a big fan of food I can eat at home with ease, and cracker barrel provides that.nnHowever, with the introduction of their hickory smoked bacon chicken dish, at least with the cooks at this location, they've provided a meal I would not find out of place in an upscale restaurant.nnPerhaps this new item is the beginning of a shift in focus, which would highly benefit the chain. Semi-gourmet southern food is an untouched niche I would love to see filled.
