Its a nice little park with baseball fields a creek and a couple ponds. They stock it but when I come out I hardly have caught much. I caught a couple catfish this time. The park was full of people which normally isn't the case. People come out and jog or fish or just sit in their cars and people watch. The front pond is shallow and I havent tried the other pond or the creek. Its a convenient spot. 17 and up need a fishing license. I never saw a game warden but why risk it. You can get a license on line and sent to you in a couple weeks. Easy
This time of year we're there a lot that is where the oldest child plays softball and even though the 4-year-old enjoys playing on the playground it all works out everybody is happy
Went there at night and got chased off by four cop cars. They should really have a sign saying they're closed at night. And the cops should find something better to do with their time.
Stopped for trade days. Hardly any vendors there. This is nothing like it was five years ago. Lots of people walking around but saw hardly anyone actually buy anything very disappointing
Very nice open green space. Great for picnics and relaxing ourdoors.
