Great Clips

My husband took my son to get his haircut and I was appalled when he returned. While he said he enjoyed the experience and he says everyone was nice (thus two stars instead of one), his hair is embarrassing. I cannot believe he was allowed to walk out like that. The left side of his hair is much shorter, choppier, and uneven compared to the right. And no, it is not a style choice. The back of his hair has random long chunks of hair and all around it is extremely uneven.when comparing each section. This was an Easter haircut! I am afraid I am just going to have to shave his hair! I have cut his hair many times before (I am not a professional), and I can do better than this. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. We will not be returning if this is the level of quality we can expect.

My kids always get haircuts here and we don't go anywhere else for them. The hairstylist I specifically enjoyed is Sharon (I think that's her name). She was personable and great with my 5 year old daughter. My daughter cut off a chunk of her hair at school and was left with an awkward hairstyle. I wasn't sure what to do when we got to the salon and Sharon (?) helped me pick a haircut suitable for my daughter. It turned out way cuter than I ever imagined and we love it! That's just one example. Every time we come here, each hairstylist is great w my kids (10 and 5 years old). I do wish that they kept hairstylists longer because it seems like it's a new person every time we come there but it's also kind of understandable with that sort of job and whatnot.nnAll that being said, I wouldn't go there for a special haircut as an adult. I would go to a salon that has hairstylists who have been doing this line of work for much, much longer. I don't mind paying more for a special haircut where they pay attention to detail. You will not get that at Great Clips, for the most part. They are good for quick, cheap haircuts only. They don't do much more than that so keep that in mind!nnI gave them 5 stars because I go into Great Clips knowing what I will get out of the haircut and they meet expectations every time. I recommend this specific location for trims and basic haircuts.

So I moved from Nevada, see. Dry, no rain and a desert everywhere. It was amazing cuz I could have my hair anyway I wanted long short mohawk no hawk or any other way I wanted and my hair would stay beautiful and in place all day. But now I'm in Texas and the humidity gods hate me. My glorious locks from above are no more glorious for the humidity and the atmosphere and the water all comes to be frizzy and out of control. No matter what way I parted it or what way I brushed it or what way I wore it. My hair as soon as I walked outside would go crazy. Needless to say I no longer looked like the glorious Greek god anymore, at least when it came to hair, but instead I look like a bum.nnWhat's the good news? This Great clips was able to save my hair. They gave me an appropriate haircut for Texas. Gone is my desert hair, and now I have newer shorter Texas hair. Thank you Great clips you have saved me.nnUntil next time.

Great experience. Angela was my stylist and she was super nice and did a fantastic job on my hair. Both the ladies in the store were friendly and funny, kept making us laugh. Will definitely be back.
