Dolphin Dock is the only deep sea fishing place I will use in the Corpus/Port A area. I catch a lot of fish and have a ton of fun every time I go out with them. I do the 12 hour trips and they are a blast! The deckhands are hard workers and they are so much fun to be around. The only time I have used a different deep sea fishing place in Port A, it was a let down and I vowed to only use Dolphin Dock because it is always a great experience!
The last time I went was about 5 years Go but I enjoyed every second and will never forget the amazing adventure. And the amazing catches we had. Truly a great experience.
This place does not disappoint! Have been out on the Flipper and Capt Paul, both times have had an excellent adventure! The Capt and crew on both vessels were outstanding! Travis is a doll and so helpful! Really enjoyed talking to Matt and his fishing adventures! Brian is a sweetheart, so very helpful! Fishing was great both times luckily, lol, it's called fishing not catching for a reason but we def caught both times I've gone out!
Seemed good value, but only 1 fish was caught between 20 people. Everyone was getting sea sick & discouraged by the results. I asked a crew member why, and was told because of the freeze a few weeks prior. I can understand, but a heads-up would’ve been nice. That said, they’re not afraid to take your $$ knowing you won’t catch anything. I recommend you call ahead to ask how the fishing has been lately. Lesson learned
They cancelled on my family without any notice because the other party didn't show up. And we drove hours and booked in advance! I would be careful with this company. There was no apology or any sympathy either.
