Don't think we'll come here again. :( Very pretty trail and big lake and lovely police to patrol at night to keep us safe... But before you get on the road to get to the campsite, there are abandoned buildings and houses that are kind of falling apart. Was a little scary to see before we get to the campsite. Also, the campsite is very hard to get a hold of. Had called a few times and left a voicemail before we came, and no one got back to me the whole weekend. If you need something after 10:00 pm, forget about it. At 10:30 the first night, we had to drive 30 minutes to the next town to get a battery for our air mattress pump. Was a scary drive there were homeless people walking around the streets at night, just a few miles outside the campsite. **The campsites are VERY close together.** You can hear EVERYTHING! I have never ever stayed at a campsite where the sites are sooo close. Absolutely no privacy felt like people were staring at us the whole time.** I'm writing this because I really wish I had seen a review like this before I drove 3 hours and slept outside for two nights here.
The cabins were adorable, affordable, and cozy! Beautiful scenery and friendly staff! Security patrolled routinely even through the night, which made me feel really safe. Bathrooms/showers were decently clean, too!
A beautiful place! My fiance and I picked up our trailer right off the lot and brought it straight here to test it out. Plenty of space to park everything, and the hiking trails and lake are awesome!
I liked having full hook ups but they were very far apart in our pull thru site. I had to borrow a sewer extension from our camping buddies so slide out would fit. Overall, the park facilities were great. Lake was fun but cold....
It’s pretty and clean but how is it camping when you’re set up in some parking lot with 15 other families. This only has designated camping spots. “Camping”. This is a joke. I can do this in a Walmart parking lot for free. At least I wouldn’t be 5 feet away from another family’s set up.
