Pretty average park. The grass was shaggy and not mowed. It was decent.
The place is beutiful,there is alot of nice spots to take pictures, i love it.
Vernon Worthen park has become our go-to place for date night during this COVID crisis. We love picking dinner up at a local restaurant and then just eating and talking in the park as we people-watch and enjoy the shady trees. We love that they moved the playground off the busy road and upgraded a lot of the equipment. We also love all the grassy areas that this park provides. St. George has a lot of great parks and this one is great for families and for date night.
Very well maintained park! The playground is state of the art and there are plenty of shade trees, a walking path, and a covered pavilion.
Great playground for all ages. Has toys similar to the train park but it’s much easier to keep track of your kids here! Tons of shade and picnic tables everywhere. I saw at least 6 pickleball courts and 2 sand volleyball courts. We had a great time here!
