The Scarecrow Walk and Haunted Canyon are such a fun activity to enjoy during October! The weather is gorgeous for a walk through the garden and you get to view all of the creative scarecrows on display. Don’t miss the path through Haunted Canyon either! Be sure to look down as you enter 😉

Wonderful free attraction in St George. Red Hills Desert Garden has several miles of paved and gravel trails intersecting a beautiful Desert Garden. Many species of cactus and other desert plants. The gardens are landscaped beautifully with raised beds, bridges, stepping stones over streams, a waterfall, and even a manmade slot canyon. There is a fish pond with windows to view the fish too. There are several swing chairs to enjoy the peace and solitude. Great views over St George. Seasonal decorations for Halloween, winter holidays, etc. Public restrooms. Wheelchair accessible parking and trails. Free entry. Family friendly.

Perfect spot to spend some time meditating, enjoy with a loved one and absolutely essential to see while in Southern Utah! Love all the dedication that they put into this Desert Garden. It's really is a treasure!

Fantastic place to visit. Very informative about the natural vegetative life. We also saw some local critters. Lots of things to see and hike around the garden as well.
