Very nice community organized well for high holidays and great to have a safe place for all different ages ,etc .

I have an undergraduate degree International Affairs with most of my coursework in Middle East Studies and Economics. I was advised to come here by the Archdiocese at Seattle University where I'm studying for my MBA during a mass message sent out around high holy days a couple years ago. This is a welcoming community usually. As with any community you should show caution with anyone you interact with. The staff here are as friendly and as helpful as they can be. Keep in mind that they interact with the University communities both at University of Washington and throughout the city and region. I didn't give five stars because the problems with race and ethnopolitical background that could be attributed to the entire community.

It's very big, comfortable, peaceful place. I went there just enjoy spring -cherry blossoms. Though mesmerized by the buildings and their library. I wanted to study there again.

Come here for Passover lunches on the intermediate weekdays during Pesah and meet the rest of the Jewish community. Hours are usually 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. You don't have to be a student or affiliated with the University of Washington or UW. Prices are lower for students. If you don't have the money, you can volunteer.nnChoice of food is usually chicken, something tasty and vegetarian, salad, vegetable, starch, dessert, and drink. Parking is tight in the neighborhood but they usually make arrangements next door or you can use their lot.
