Calico Butterfly Preschool

I am currently a proud employee of Calico Butterfly. I have 18 years of Early childhood experience and my CDA. I am lucky to be a part of an AWESOME team of Teachers and an AWESOME Director. It is a Blessing and joy to come to work every day and be a part of creating a safe, loving, professional, and learning environment that is a home away from home for every child in our care. As an employee I feel valued, appreciated, and respected and that motivates me to be the best that I can be as a teacher. As a teacher, I appreciate that we have small class sizes which enable us to work more individually with each child and family and to bond with them and to strengthen their developmental areas. I look forward to a long and happy journey with Calico!

My family and I love Calico Butterfly! Our two daughters are happy and learning and growing so much. The staff and director are very knowledgeable and responsive to our questions and our girls' needs. It is hard to find good child care in Albuquerque and Calico Butterfly is really a gem - I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, safe, friendly place for your most precious little ones!

I have been working in Childcare as a Lead Teacher for over 13 years, I am currently a teacher at Calico Butterfly Preschool. The school has a peaceful atmosphere and it is a pleasure to come to work everyday. We have seemingly unlimited resources of supplies and toys. The children are loved by everyone who works here. I recommend this preschool 100 %.

We love it here! I have had my 2 kids here for years. Love the attention, classrooms, teachers and administration. My kids are safe, learning new things every day and I feel welcome and acknowledged.

Do NOT send your kids here. The director Linda is working her employees to no end. She's not allowing them breaks, will not allow employees to write incident reports on children that hit or bite other children. We will be filing a complaint with the state. Linda is rude and if this God shining through her, I wouldn't wanna believe in the God that she believes in. She is completely under staffed and does not allow her employees breaks or lunches. I'll restate this again! ****DO NOT**** send your kids to this daycare. Linda is horrible and she's running a sweat shop!
