First off, if you go to this place, she does not accept credit or debit cards. Only cash or check. She will not wear a mask and calls the pandemic a scamdemic for hospitals to make money. Unfortunately, my wife had already started the procedure for her hair when she found out all this from the stylist. After the cut the stylist told her to walk to an atm to get cash.nNever again, for the price and disregard for others health. No way.

After long research and to get rid of a disastrous previous cut and color, I went to Rita. What can I say! She's one of those few stylists who really 'get' you and your hair. I am very particular about my hair and the products I use on it, and tend to be natural or minimalistic. If was only my second time coloring my hair and I was afraid as my scalp and hair had reacted badly the first time. Rita completely put me at ease, and I only left her chair when she was absolutely sure I got the right color and cut. She's one of the few stylists who care for what goes into the products they use, and how they impact your hair long term. I love the fact that she takes the time to understand you and be a perfectionist about what you want. I'm enjoying my hair and color, and will definitely be returning!

Carol L Hargett left a review and said I did a hair color that only lasted 3 days, then I had her pay more to fix it. This is a fake review. I am the owner of Abbey's Hair Studio and keep very good records on all my clients. I do not know her and she has never been in my salon.

Rita has been cutting my hair for over 19 years and doing the color for the last three or four. She's a perfectionist--you don't leave her chair until she's satisfied! Even though I have moved since first going to Rita, I still am happy to drive the 15 miles each way to have her work with my hair--not the least bit interested in looking for someone closer to my home. Rita's great!

I was only in San Antonio for a few days, and needed to have my roots touched up. Rita was able to fit me in to her schedule, and matched my existing color beautifully. Super nice person, and very professional! Thanks Rita!
