Five Oaks Riding Stables

We had a wonderful experience. We had a group of 8 with 4 kids (5,6,8,8) and we all loved it. The staff was very friendly and all went the extra mile with southern hospitality. The horses were great and very well trained also. Was a real highlight if our spring break trip!

The check in process was seamless and the staff were all so friendly and made you calm about getting on their horses. They all had names and it made me enjoy my ride that much more. Donnie was our guide and was wonderful at keeping track of us all in the group. Worth every penny!!

I took my oldest daughter (30) and her boyfriend who had never been on a horse along with my 26 year old son. They all were smiling ear to ear. It was a great trail ride with time flying by. The hour tour seemed to be over before we knew it and everyone agreed woo that was 3 miles. We could have gone another couple hours loving our time with the horses mine was Sinbad. AND OUR TOUR GUIDE WAS TIFFANY WHO WAS TOTALLY AWESOME AND FUN TO BE WITH. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVEN FOR BEGINNERS.

Upon making our reservation, it was not communicated that the horseback riding experience was a large group experience and not limited to your family group. Actually, nowhere on the website or in confirmation emails was it mentioned at all.nWhen we arrived at the location and noted that was the case I asked for a refund - any other time we would have happily trailed along with a group but due to health concerns of a member of the family we do not want to risk exposure being in a large group (we assumed it was limited to our family group when we made reservations). The attendant at the counter was very rude and condescending when I mentioned my concerns. We considered riding but left the venue as more people gathered and after realizing that masks were not required in this larger group setting.nI called the office to discuss my concerns and was told we could not be refunded for our money - the attendant on the phone then hung up when I requested to speak to a manager. I understand the 24-hour cancellation policy and would have canceled earlier IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS A LARGE GROUP EXPERIENCE. This information should be relayed, so people don’t waste their money!

What a fantastic experience! We had a blast on the horses; the staff, especially our guide Donny, was so helpful in making sure we had a great time! And same for the zip lining; we felt safe and had such a fun time! Sky helped our 3 year old learn how to zip line and was so awesome with everyone in our group!
