Amy Garner spent a lot of time with me to acquaint me with the facility. The facility is lovely from the moment you walk in. The furnishings and decorations are homelike, and everyone I met was friendly.nnThere is an inner courtyard where residents can grow flowers or vegetables or simply sit and enjoy the garden areas. There are covered and open spaces for sitting.nnThe facility is constructed in a square so it is easy for residents to find their way around.nnI would definitely recommend that this facility be included when searching for an assisted living and memory care facility in east TN!

Brookdale Sevierville is an amazing place, with the most caring staff we have ever encountered. They literally treat your loved one like family as well as included us in every activity or event they had planned. We were always kept well informed, they were cheerful and accommodating in all aspects, and they greeted you with a smile every day. We have since referred others to this wonderful facility and we have continued to keep in touch after our loved ones passing. I can’t praise or say enough about this wonderful staff and facility.

Not impressed. We had my father-in-law here for a while. Despite having people there to 'help' him, we would find him disheveled and smelly when we visited, his room somewhat untidy, and he lost a considerable amount of weight. Upon further investigating, we found out that the food was pitiful. 2 pieces of dry bread with a slice of cold cut and nothing else on it as a supper? When the residents get too hungry, the feed them midnight cupcakes. Some of the staff tried to tell us that he was having dementia and that he ate well, but the scale said otherwise and he is as sharp as a tack. We taught him how to use the video app on his cell phone and he videoed examples of the meals. Poor and nasty looking at best. Another thing that ticked him and us off if that if you have a newspaper or magazine subscription, the staff considers it to be community property and puts it out for all to read before the resident is ever given it. He had to hunt down his paper and fishing magazines and often did not find them. We were told no one else ever had a problem with this practice.nnThe one bright spot was Larry, who takes the residents out for Sunday drives. He was literally the only person there that truly seemed to care about the residents. The others were there to talk in fake happy voices and roll their eyes when they turned away from the residents.nnWe moved Dad to a different place nearby and everyone is MUCH happier!

My Mother was a resident at Brookdale Sevierville for may years, and as her health needs changed due to dementia, she received professional, caring, and loving attention from all staff members. The communication with staff and medical providers was very important as I live in Canada. The staff and Director were very accommodating with clear and concise information regarding the care of my Mother.nBrookdale Sevierville became home to my Mother and the entire team became another family to us. I was always welcomed with open arms, and updated on her condition immediately.nIf you are in need of another home, or temporary care for your family member, I encourage you to consider Brookdale Sevierville.

Brookdale Sevierville is a Great Assisted Living Facility. I have been going to this facility for over 3 years and their staff are amazing! Their Nurses, ED & Nursing Director are all very compassionate & professional.
