It's a small campground, but it is packed full of amenities and activities! It's a one way street, so it definitely helps keep things going in what otherwise be a tight fit.nnWe were only staying a short time on a longer trip west, but a change of plans had us wanting to extend our time here. The staff were so helpful and amazing at getting us into a new spot that allowed us to stay! It wasn't easy...I will give that...but they were smiling and laughing with me. I absolutely love our spot! I don't know how they did it, but I am so thankful!!!!!nnWe are definitely coming back!!!

We have stayed at this campground so many times when it was Bear Cove. It was always so clean and the management was super helpful. We never had a bad experience. Since it has switched to Jellystone campground, it has completely changed! Rented a cabin and we were so shocked at the condition. They had painted recently to try and “spruce” things up. They lazily left areas under sinks and beds unpainted that they thought were not visible but they clearly were. The bedroom door would not close, bathroom door wouldn’t lock unless someone was on one side pushing it to line it up properly. So, no too much privacy when you may need it. There was a large crack in the bathroom sink. Then, there were roaches. Contacted front desk and she said “yeah I thought I had seen one there before.” She called in an exterminator and they told her there were no traces of roaches. Yes, there were. There were roach droppings, legs, and antennas on the bathroom sink area. I took photos. We packed up and left at the first sight of them and we had one night left. I have contacted multiple times to try and get a refund for our last night and no one will respond. The only information I was given was an email address. Very disappointed in their customer service! Very disappointed in the campground since Jellystone took over!

We normally love Jellystone campgrounds, but we were unimpressed with this one. I will say the staff was nice, but here is why we didn’t enjoy our experience there: the entire loop, which was a tight squeeze to begin with, felt like one giant pothole. The bath/shower house, although remodeled nicely, was dirty. The doors also did not lock easily and my husband was walked in on because he thought it was locked. The ONE laundry room was closed for maintenance!! I was told by one person “they’d be open in about an hour.” By the second person that he was “off that day but if the part is in, he’d fix it in the morning.” And by the third person that “the parts were on a slow boat from China.” By then we realized we’d have to take our clothes to a laundromat down the road. The spaces were tiny and we didn’t see a level one in the campground... make sure you have plenty of levelers/blocks. Not many activities for kids, and regardless, the activity pavilion was very small. One time Yogi was supposed to go to the pond for an activity and didn’t show up... bunch of kids sitting there waiting around for him. Activities are just not organized well. The pond area was nice, the playgrounds were small. We agree with other comments that this campground should not carry the Jellystone brand.

Small but nice campground. Easy to get in and out. Sewer hookups can be an issue. Sometimes they are uphill. Gravity doesn’t work that way. Amenities are fine. Close to Dollywood.

First time staying at this campground. We decided to try glamping! Wonderful and helpful staff. Very friendly and kept us in supplies of clean towels and such. If you like to do camping but are not able to sleep on the floor or cot, this is the perfect solution! We also rented a gulf cart, which I would definitely recommend if you're glamping! Oh and the restrooms are all private with a shower! How neat is that! Also need to add that it's supplied with a coffee pot with complimentary k-cups and either you can use heat or air conditioning, plus a fire pit with a propane grill.
