I’m a strong believer in your job is only as good as what you put into it. This place is a prime example of that. You know when your doing your job right, because they never hesitate to tell you. Of course every job has its down side, but that just comes with working for a living. I’m really happy with this company.

It took me almost 5 months to get hired here at NYX. I went through my orientation last Friday and was supposed to start my night shift this past Monday night. My daughter, who has epilepsy, ran out of medicine and had a seizure and I had to go all the way to Columbia to get her medication at 8pm with no refills on the bottle. I sat at Walgreens half the night, didn't have the supervisor's phone number to call. By the time I got home it was too late to go in so I called that following morning. I was told that Eric was off work and the shift supervisor would be given my phone number and would be in touch. It is Thursday and still no call. I call and get nothing but Eric's voice mail. I guess I was supposed to let my daughter stay home without any medication. I am not impressed at all with the way that I have been done. I am in a financial crisis and needed this job but oh well people be sure and neglect your kids if you choose to work at this place.

You can never get a hold of anyone. You can call their phone a dozen times no-one will ever answer.There is a 21 year old kid running third shift who has no clue as to what he is doing. This kid fires people in front of everyone to humiliate them. They are bad on the breaks and lunch times. I mean really you start on your press at 11 and 11:15 you get your first break. They are firing people constantly. Nine people in a week. Several people just walk out. They have a women supervisor there who bad mouths you to everyone.They are unable to keep workers because of the kid and the women running third shift. Sorry to say they need to clean up their top employees to keep the good workers.
