There are literally millions of pieces of sharp metal barely underneath the grass because the City dominated park doesn't allow metal detectorists to hunt there and keep the place cleaned up. Tons of drug and alcohol use going on there. I saw 3 live bullets on the ground in 3 different places. One was in the kids play area. Other than that, it's a great place to get robbed.
The Recreational Specialist makes you feel right at home. Ms. Rita encourages the use of face mask and social distancing whole being very nice so that you truly feel welcome.
My grandaughter birthday party was here. Great time, plenty of room for the kids.
Beautiful park. Many shelters equipped with stationed grills and trash cans for your convenience.shelters may be used without reservations however if someone does book a specific one and you're using it, you'll have to pack up and relocate. (Happened to me, luckily i reserved it!) There's a pool, life guards on duty, and they've recently added new work out equipment. There's also a recreational building you can book to host events! Love this community park!
It's a real nice park. I enjoyed watching my grandson play ball there. I love the shade of all the trees.
