Hidden Cave Ranch Bed and Breakfast

This bed & breakfast is simply amazing! Jaro & Marion were such great hosts and very talented people. The wood work in the entire house was an example of their amazing talent, the food was another and the love they have for animals was still another! Their story is just as amazing and an inspiration to us all! From the food to the fellowship, it was a wonderful anniversary getaway for us! We will definitely return to visit! We would give 10 stars if it was available...they definitely deserve it!!!!!

My 15 yr old daughter and I spent an idyllic weekend at the ranch over Labor Day. We spent a lot of time with Marion and I found her easy to talk to and enjoyed learning more about horses from her. She is clearly passionate about the welfare of her animals. My daughter loved the dogs and the horses and both of us were refreshed by our first break since Covid started.nJaro’s cooking was excellent and we enjoyed a variety of food, and generous breakfasts. I was almost caught out by not having brought a check book nor cask to pay (didn’t read the policy) but fortunately was able to pay with PayPal.nFor the reviewer who is disappointed about not receiving a refund for a cancellation, I get that you’re upset. But this is a small business run by a couple, not a national chain. Giving a 1star review to the business is hardly fair, when they have a clearly stated policy covering refunds on their website. I hope other readers won’t miss out on the opportunity to visit this beautifully situated place.nPS sit on the upper deck with a glass of wine at dusk.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Hidden Cave Ranch. The hosts, Jaro and Marion, have created a little slice of paradise in the middle of Kentucky. The room we stayed in was spacious, and had its own bathroom. The mattress was very comfortable. It was very cold the first night, and we forgot to turn on the space heater in the room, but the next night we were toasty warm. There are rescue dogs on the premises, and they had a lot of love to give to strangers. The food was five-star all the way, and Jaro made special accommodations for our son, who is a very picky eater. We took horse-back riding lessons from Marion, who is an amazing instructor, and afterwards we went for an hour-long horse-back ride around the property. We made the 1/2 hour trek to the hidden cave, a must see on the property. There are pot-belly pigs, chickens, llamas, sheep, goats, horses, and even a mule on the property. If you like animals, nature, great food, and friendly hosts, then you must check this place out. The stars at night were absolutely dazzling, and Jaro and Marion went out of their way to accommodate us. We loved it so much, we bought some newborn chicks that had just been born to take home with us to Michigan. If you're looking for a place to escape for a few days and find yourself, or just get away from it all for awhile, Hidden Cave Ranch should be on your short list. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Jaro and Marion Are absolutely the best hosts. The food was homemade and delicious with a very personal touch. My husband and I LOVED this log home, the walks to the cave, all the animals and the PEACE AND QUIET. We sat out on the back porch listening to the wild life. So relaxing. We will definitely be back.
