It's the place to bike, hike, or ride on horseback! I always feel better after biking around the lake, and there are actually some decent downhill sections if you're willing to put in the milage. It's not the best place to bike, especially compared to what is up in the mountains nearby, but it's our local, and it sure beats riding through a city! The trails are kept up by a local volunteer organization, so be sure to be responsible and only go riding on days when the conditions are dry enough. And be respectful of horses as they can spook easily and potentially throw their rider off. There are maps by the parking which you can use to familiarize yourself with by the area, as well as picnic benches and a shelter to relax underneath. I am so glad to have Issaqueena less than five minutes away from Clemson The forest is good for the mind, body, and soul!!

Great place for a nice hike with your family and dogs. Very busy but not congested. Many trails to explore to keep you busy.

Come here as often as you can. It is good for the soul. Lots of trails to follow. 30 minute hike will get you to lake and river. Both vistas are breathtaking in any weather

Very cool very beautiful trail system. Plenty of parking and dozens of miles of miking and loops. The trail marking is problematic and inconsistent so make sure to take a photo of the map and take gps before you head out.
